Why this song for Song of the Week? Well...

 

This song was originally written for the soundtrack of the film City of Angels. I love this movie and this song, even though they leave my eyes wet with tears and my heart feeling sore. But the lyrics: "And I don't want the world to see me, 'cause I don't think that they'd understand. When everything's made to be broken, I just want you to know who I am" have always stuck with me. They are profound and angelically beautiful.
